The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking
The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking is a national charity dedicated to ending all types of human trafficking in Canada.
Human trafficking in Canada is occurring at shocking levels. It is a sophisticated, organized crime and that demands sophisticated, coordinated and integrated solutions.
The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking has been established as the national “backbone” organization working on this issue. The Centre collaborates and works with the various stakeholders dedicated to this issue, including all levels of government, private sector businesses and front line service providers in order to advance best practices and eliminate duplicate efforts across Canada.
The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking exists to create a national strategy for change.
Butterly Asian and Migrant Sex Workers
Your donation of time or money will make a difference in improving the safety, justice and dignity of Asian and migrant sex workers:
To provide support and education to Asian and migrant sex workers;
To decrease the risk of violence they face each day;
To advocate for their human rights and legal rights.
Outreach volunteers from our network visit encampments daily to deliver basic supplies such as water and tents, ice, sleeping bags, fire safety equipment, and snacks, which the city has consistently refused to provide. We believe all people deserve care, support, and access to water, food, fire safety and sanitation.
We advocate for better conditions in encampments, report on city conditions and activity in encampments, and advocate for long term permanent housing for people in their communities of choice. ESN also collects and compiles feedback from residents to support our advocacy efforts and continues to pressure the city to develop real solutions to the housing crisis. The only way to provide effective support and find solutions is by listening to and centring the needs of people experiencing homelessness.
Canadian Mental Health Association
As the nationwide leader and champion for mental health, CMHA facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness.
Your support will help us dismantle all forms of anti-Black racism, liberate Blackness, support Black healing, affirm Black existence and create freedom to love and self-determine.
